Barbara recently re-published this helpful book about the death of her first husband.  The story is told from the perspective of her nine-year-old daughter.  It tells of the six month period from the discovery of her husband's brain tumor to the time of his passing.

Easily read by most children of about age 8 and up, it is also a good choice for adults who are close to a child who is facing the death of a loved one.  The subject is handled tenderly but honestly.  It includes an epilogue written by her daughter (at age 16) who was just 6 years old at the time her father died.
